About this application

This application checks the proper arrangement and cleanliness of a workstation (desk). It uses ArUco tags (square markers) to identify the workstation and camera perspective. Based on this calibration, the system compares the current state with a reference image of an ideally clean and organized workstation and saves the result for your teacher to review.

Controls

• More options (top-right): Opens a panel with Layers, Upload, Info, Group ID, and Start New Test - see below.
• Layers (in More options): Switch between camera view, reference-only view, and overlay mode where reference and current images are overlaid.
• Upload (in More options): Upload a photo from your device instead of using the camera.
• Info (in More options): Display this help and legend guide.
• Start New Test (in More options): Finishes and saves your current test, marks it done, and starts you completely fresh - a new reference to find, a new Group ID to enter, everything cleared. Only available once you've submitted at least one photo.
• Group ID (in More options): Tap it any time to set or change the group ID your photos and results are saved under.
• Photo / Search switch (below the shutter): "Search" takes a photo just to find the matching reference for your desk - do this first. Once a reference is found (automatically, or by picking one from the Reference picker below), it switches to "Photo" automatically, and the shutter now submits your test photo instead.
• Test picker (top-left, appears after your first photo): A dropdown to choose what your next photo is for - Main Test (the regular desk check), or Left/Right Pipet Stand (an additional check).
• Gallery thumbnail (bottom-left corner): Grayed out until you've submitted a photo; afterwards shows your latest photo and reopens everything you've sent for this test - see "Your photo gallery" below.
• Reference picker (bottom-right corner): Opens a panel to manually pick a Scene and Perspective for comparison. For better results, use the Search mode that will automatically select the best match.
• Shutter (center-bottom): Take a photo of the current workstation (or of the pipet stand, if that test is selected) and send it in.

Retaking the main test photo

Retaking the main photo (or capturing/uploading one) always just replaces it in place, keeping the rest of your current test (e.g. pipet stand checks you've already done) untouched. To actually start a completely fresh test instead, use Start New Test (in the More options panel, top-right).

Your photo gallery

After each photo is sent, its thumbnail appears bottom-left - tap it to see the photo(s) you've submitted so far for this test: the main desk photo, plus a left and/or right pipet stand photo if you've done those checks. Tap any highlighted box on a photo to see what it identifies (an object's name, or a marker ID) - tap it again, or tap a different box, to dismiss it.

Your score doesn't show up here - it goes straight to your teacher, who'll go over it with you. This gallery stays saved for the rest of your visit, so refreshing the page won't lose it. Got a question about your result? Just ask your teacher to pull up the saved report.
